“ Moved here from Charlotte NC and I will say this soul food is the closest thing I have tasted here that reminds me of back home. Fried chicken was fries perfect! Season well and crispy like I like it! The yams were sweet and delicious and the potato salad was good as well! Mad I didn’t get anything else cause it was so good. I’m also thankful and grateful for them having very reasonable prices and high quality food! That’s hard to find in this economy! We will definitely be back to try more items. ”
“ A real gem in terms of the quality of their food. Great portions and classic soul food. Reminds me a lot of the old praline connection. Very friendly staff. My only complaint is that their AC probably is not working very well and it was a little bit warm and stuffy in there. I will definitely be coming back though. “ Came in for chitterlings and baby it did not disappoint!!! I came just in time I think they ran out right after my order so if you do have a craving for chitterlings on Thursdays make sure you get there earlier than later. Employees were also really nice the guy that took my order mad nice. I will definitely be back ”

Portions were appropriate to the price (Friday lunch special) and the staff was very kind and friendly. Gave us some recommendations for night life places as this was the first time visiting NOLA.
